How to Track Student Engagement and Course Ratings

Understanding how learners interact with your course is essential for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality learning experiences. LEEP provides instructors with tools to monitor student engagement, course ratings, and feedback so you can make data-driven decisions.

📊 Why Tracking Engagement Matters

  • Gauge course effectiveness
  • Identify popular or weak content areas
  • Respond to student needs quickly
  • Improve future course design

👣 Where to View Engagement and Ratings

1. Go to Your Instructor Dashboard

  • Log into your LEEP instructor account.
  • Click Dashboard from the top-right menu or sidebar.

2. Navigate to “My Courses”

  • Select Courses > My Courses.
  • Click Learning Page or Edit next to the course you want to track.

3. Check the Course Statistics

Each course has a Statistics or Analytics section where you can view:

  • Total Sales and Free Access Downloads
  • Watch Time (Hours learners spent on your course)
  • Number of Comments
  • Learner Progress (How far students have gone through the course)

✅ Tip: Courses with higher completion rates and feedback tend to get more visibility on the platform.

⭐ Tracking Ratings and Feedback

1. View Course Ratings

  • Go to Dashboard > Notifications to see recent rating activity.
  • New feedback or star ratings are tagged as “Course Approve” or “Rating (Feedback)”.

2. Read Student Comments

  • From the Dashboard, click Comments to see a breakdown of:
    • Replied vs Unreplied
    • Course-specific comments
    • Timestamped entries (e.g., “21/04/2025 | 02:10 pm”)

💬 Engage with learners by replying to comments directly. This shows responsiveness and builds community trust.

🔁 Use Insights to Improve Your Course

Based on student feedback and engagement analytics, you can:

  • Update lessons that receive poor feedback or low watch time.
  • Add quizzes, assignments, or downloadable materials to boost interactivity.
  • Clarify confusing sections or restructure your lesson order.
